Frnzer, who travels for the i'adhams & Kerr Bros., of Portland, imys the Hotel Willamette at Salem, has the finest flowers In the dining room of any hotel on the road. He is there every Monday, and has become in enthusiast over the gladiolus. The Iflndlolus grown in the open air nt KSalcm are certainly the most showy Iflower for hotel use that has ever Kbeen developed. One Salem grower has been furnishing these flowers to several hotels to convince the travel ling public that this is more of a flower I state than some others, as he believes that uur summer climate is adapted f to flower culture out doors better ! than any climate in the world.
