The most expensive monument over brought to this part of the state Is being unloaded today by the White Lino Transfer Company. It was purchased by tho Fallc estate and will mark tho last resting place of Nathan Falk. It consists of a mammoth col umn of granite In throe sections. Thee base weighs 02,000 pounds nnd required one of the best cars on thp Short Lino for Its transportation. The second section weighs 42,000 and the top sections weighs 30,000 pounds. The three pieces of stone made three carloads. Tho monument will be erected at once in the Masonic ceme- tnry. Boise Capital News. Will Reclaim 10,000 Acres. Hubbard lake, one of the largest of the reservoirs now being put In on tho New York canal extension, Is now nearly half completed, Sixteen thous and cubic yards of dirt wero put Into the dam this month. The dam Is to be a mile In length, and tho reservoir will have a capacity of 10,000 acre feet.
