Jim Glngles, a brother of Jack Gin gles, who was shot to death near Spokane by officers while resisting arrest, was convicted at Yakima yes terday on the charge of horse steal ing. Ho was not tried on the charge of highway robbery, for which he was arrested. Leon Macry, a member of the Gln gles gang, made a confession some time ago. On the stand today he was the main witness against Jim Gln gles. He was with tho two brothers on October 17 last, when they stole William Bucholtz's horses In Horse Heaven. The horses were driven Into Oregon and sold. Jim Glngles was captured this spring while working on an Irrigation ditch near Prosser. A Baker City paper hns published a rather sensational article to tho ef fect that tho object of Mr. Gram's visit was to endeavor lo Induro tho members of tho Sumplor nnd Bourne miners' unions to sever their connec tion with the Western Federation of Miners and affiliate with tho Ameri can Fedora.
