for 1904 In the various countries as

old man who was sentenced to tho
penitentiary borne time ago for the
larceny of a horse and buggy from tho
Carney Hvery stable. Webb hired the
rig ana men drove it to ono or tuo
small town nearby, ho sold It to an
other livery man. U was arrested
and convicted of ibo crime, and sen
tenced to tho penitentiary.
This morning Mr. Ulakley, who
mado tho arrest and escorted tho
prisoner to Kalem, received a beauti
ful cane mado of leather and horn,
and mounted with Hllver, which had
been made by the old man and sent
to his jailer.
