Growers Are Confident That Prices Tomorrow Will Show Some Ad vance Over the First Sales List of nomers with Amounts, to Thtr Credit Six Hundred Sacks Sold na Awaiting Shipment Most of the Wool Outside Is Bargained for. Tomorrow the second and the Inst of the wool sales to be held In Pen- u eiun win occur. There are now auout l.u.uoo pounds of wool In the rurnlsh warehouse, which will bo for buio wnen tne buyers gather tomorrow morning, and a little moro Is yet to bo hauled in before the day Is over. This sale will practically clean up all ot the wool In the county, leaving the calendar clean. The growers are confident that the prices will range a little higher tomorrow than they did at the last meeting here, but the buy ers, of course, are of the opposite opinion, it is certain, however, that they will bo as good for the grade ot wool at tho warehouses. Smith and Campbell havo 40 sacks, or 12.2S6 pounds for sale. Gullltord Brothers, 200 sacks, or 70.000 pounds; George H. McDonald, 3" sacks, 10,343 pounds; A. H. Sunderman, 3G sacks, 14,319 pounds; V. Tho warehouse of the Pacific Eleva tor Company, opposite the depot, Is also full ot wool, perhaps COO sacks being stored there awaitiiig shipment to the east. This wool has been bought by various parties and is be ing held for a convenient time to ship. It has been stored In the Pacific ware house In order to make room at tho other place, which is so crowded with the wool now up for sale that It Is with difficulty that the warehousemen are able to handle the contents at tho tlmo of the sales. There Is yet a little wool over tho county which has not been brought to the warehouses, but this Is mostly bargained for and will b hauled to town when the buyer Is ready to ship to his house. BICYCLE ACCIDENT. Ben Burroughs Bruised and Bicycle Damaged. This afternoon Ben Burroughs met with an accident while riding his bi cycle, which smashed up his wheel and bruised him pretty badly. As he passed the Bears transfer wagon, his wheel swerved under the wheels, throwing him to the ground and bruising him painfully. His wheel went under tho wagon and was badly demolished.
