count gives Hermann but 3,000 plurality.

CONTRACT LET.
Gibson Will Build Second Story to
Peoples Warehouse.
The contract has been let for the
construction of the second story to
the building now occupied by the Peo
ples Warehouse. Arthur Gibson was
awarded the contract, and the addi
tion will cost about $6,000 or $7,000.
Tomorrow morning workmei will
commence the erection of the scaf
folding around the front of the build
ing and work will be started as soon
as the material can be brought to the
ground. It Is estimated that it will
take about a month to complete the
building. The front will be construct
ed of pressed -brick and will be one of
the most artistic in the city when
