It Is even said It was the in tention of the mob to clear the county Jail at Grangovlllo had it been neces sary to go to tho Jail for Myers. It nlso deVelODCd tnrinv thnt Mvn made preparations for a sudden aeatn Dciore leaving Whltebird the first time. While In Whlteblrd he transferred his ranrli nnrl nil nt hi, belongings to SI Overman who resides between Grangeville and Whlteblrd. As he was being brought to Grange ville he asked to be allowed to stop at tho Overman place and without a word handed the envelop containing the deeds to Mr. Overman. The party Immediately passed on and Mr. Overman did not know the contents of the package until after the sheriff's party were well on tho road. This Is considered an Indica tion that Myers expected mob vio lence as under other circumstances he would have had ample opportuni ty to dispose of his property before trial or conviction. l.ewlston Tribune.
