Preliminary steps for the formation of a commercial club at College Placo were taken Wednesday night, when a large number of residents met at tho school house to discuss the organiza tion. Dorsey Nichols was temporary president and E. E. Clark secretary. A constitution and by-laws committee headed by Frank Breed, was named, and a meeting will be held next Tuesday night to perfect the organiza tion. Betterment of roads, improvement of water facilities and probably pro tection for College Place irrigation users will be Issues coming before the body, which Is designed ns an official association to promote the Interests of the town.
