Those teeth you have been neg lecting so long should be attended to, and by the new painless system, they can be filled or extracted and not hurt you. This Is being demon strated every day at the Adams Dental Parlors where even small children are get ting their teeth nicely filled nnd do not get hurt. The scouring mills started up yes terday morning for a trial run, with a force of 10 sorters and six or seven apprentices. The start was made at this time more to get the machinery Into running order before the opening of Monday, than for any reason that demanded Immediate operation. On Monday more men will bo put to work and the real start In the seasons business will be made. When everything Is In running order the mill will have about 20 men at work and this will be Increased as the wool comes In and the business begins to rush. The machinery hns all been over hauled and put Into as good shape as ould be, so that there will be no delays In the middle of the season, hen time is more valuable. All the machinery was put Into operation his morning and found to bo work ing well. It Will have but little rest rom now on for several months, and Is this continuous strain that unites It so necessary to go over It r.o thoroughly every time the mill. Is hut down for a time. Kour cars of wool from Arlington vero shipped Into the mill yard yos terday afternoon and unloaded, and by the time this Ib out of the way moro will bo ready, so there is now enough material In sight to keep things running until the end of the reason. Owing to the wet weather of tho ast week tho shearing In this part of the country has been held up, and he mills will have to make the open ing run on wool shipped In from the outside. The mills are now paying from 10 to 13 cents for wool, and are finding nil that they wish nt those figures as fast ns It Is taken from the backs of the sheep. J. M. Russell, the manager, was in own yesterday and visited the prem 108, looking over and mapping out the work. He left this morning for Portland and The Dalles, where he will remain most of his time, coming o I'endleton occasionally.
