The Judge reached the jubl lee milestone In his life this morn ing, and an even dozen thirsty citi zens assembled at 10 o'clock to pay their respects. Five men paid their fine of $5 each into the city treasury, and five went to Jail for three days each in default of $5 for their fine. John Casey, who had been disor derly and had passed booze Into the city jail at the earnest request of the thirsty inmates and utider the plea that It was cheese, was given an added present in the way of two days and will remain with the city for a total of five days. George Zrotske. the man who made the flying attempt at liberty on Saturday afternoon, was given five dnys in which to make up his mind that it is useless to try to get away from the city police. When he Is through with that sentence he will face a wnrrant charging him witli assault and battery on the per son of Conrad Platzoeder. This of fense was committed about a month ago, when tne prisoner was In the employ of the Main street butcher. When the police started to arrest him he left the city hurriedly and has just returned.
