was a good attendance today at the
opening here of the annual conven
tion of the Texas Hardware Jobbers'
Association. The opening session
was devoted to addresses of welcome
and responses, the president's ad
dress and the reports of other offi
cers and committees.
The remaining sessions of the con
vention, which lasts three days, will
he given over to discussions on vari
ous matters of Interest to the trade.
Some of the matters to receive at
tention are "System and its Advan
tages to tho Hardware Business,"
"Rules as Adopted by the Cleveland
Hardware Jobbers," anTl "Taxation
on Goods Carried In Storage."
