The striking of this vein on the cross-cut has given a permanency to the prop erty and a prominence to other holdings in this section, says the Lowlston Tribune. The Glasgow was discovered by John Patterson In the fall of 1901, and nbout 18 months ago was bond ed to n company from Joplln, Mo., for $40,000. This company com menced the driving of a tunnel to tap the lead to establish the perma nency of the vein and the opening of the rich deposit Is more than was really expected from the property.
