THE PERPETUAL
WAR
There is always a fight
going on in every human
body between health and dis
ease. On one side are poor
food, bad air, over-work,
worry, colds, accidents. On
the other are sunshine, rest,
cheerfulness and nourish
ment. The reason Scott's Emul
sion fights so powerfully for
health is because it gives so
much more nourishment than
you can get in any other way.
Get in the sunlight and try
Scott's Emulsion.
We'll send you a simple tree upon request.

Human Dandruff Germs Denude a Rabbit!
CONVINCING EXPERIMENT by DR.. SABOURAND of the PASTEUR. INSTITUTE
This experiment proves that dandruff Is a contagious
disease duo to the presence of n mlcroblc growth In tho
sebaceous glands of the scalp, It also proves that unless
tho formation of dandruff Is stopped by destroying the
germs It will lead to falling hair and Incurable bald
ness. Prof. Unna, Europe's noted derumtologlst (ask
your doctor about him) was the first to discover the ml
croblc naturo of dandruff and baldness. His discovery
was later verified by Dr. Sabouraud, nt tho Pasteur Insti
tute, Paris, France. The doctor inoculated a rabbit With
human dandruff germs mid In duo time tho rabbit began
to lose Its Tur. "In between Ilvo and six weeks," says the
offlclal report of the Pasteur Institute, "the rabbit was
completely denuded, In fact It had become entirely bald."
Dandruff is Annoying. Falling Hair is an Injury.
Baldness is a Calamity.
If you are Indifferent about your hair and let It "take
care of itself," you should not grumble jwhen It Is gone.
Careful peoplo now try to save their hair and Nowbro'n
Herplcide enables them to do this In a very pleasing man
ner. It Is tho first scientific HAIR-SAVER and It is grow
ing wonderfully In popularity. Everyone should endeavor
to protect the scalp against tlnndruff infection and tho
surest way. Is to carefully avoid "exposure" to dandruff
germs and to rely upon Newbro's Herplcide as a scalp
prophylactic. One of tho chief forms of "exposing" tho
scalp Is to ubo an unsterlllzed public hair brush. The
hair brush should bo as exclusive as the tooth brush. It
Is Important to remember that:
1. Dandruff is a contagious disease caused by a mi
crobe. 2. Dandruff Is a forerunner of Itching scalp, falling hair
and baldness.
3. Chronic baldness is incurable.
4. The CAUSE pf dandruff can not be washed out of the
scalp with soap and water.
5. The only way to cure dandruff and stop falling hair
Is to kill the germ that causes It.
6. The only safe remedy, so far discovered, that will
absolutely kill the dandruff germ Is Newbro's Herplcide.
Kill tho scalp germs and the hair Is bound to grow
naturally.
Almost marvolous results follow the uso of Nowbro's
Herplcide. It contains no oil, grease, sediment or dye.
It delights tho ladles by keoplng tho hnlr light and fluffy
and by given it a silken gloss.
STOPS ITCHING OF THE SCALP INSTANTLY.
