Justice of the Peace at Weston Has
a Dearth of Business.
Weston is the quietest and most
peaceful town in Oregon.
Justice of the Peace L. F. Wood,
has not had a case in his court for
six months, and Jess Lleuallen, con
stable, has not made an arrest for
the same length of time.
It ,1b authoritatively stated that
not more than two drunken men
have been seen on Weston's streets
all winter and that no fights have
occurred, at least none have been
made public. Weston is made up of
a temperate, peaceful, law-abiding
class of citizens, as are all other
communities In Umatilla county, but
there Is a special brand of peace In
Weston that Is worthy of mention,
as the record of the Justice of the
peace shows.

DISCRIMINATING LADIES.
Cnjoy VfXtiK Ilerplclde on Account of
Its I)l.t!nctlvcnr.
The ladles who have used Newbro'a
Ilerplclde speak of It in the highest
terms, for its quick effect In cleansing
the scaln of dandruff and also for Its ex
cellence as a general halr-dresslng. It
makes the scalp feel fresh and It nllays
that itching" which dandruff will cause.
I N'ewbro's Ilerplclde effectively cures
dandruff, as it destroys the germ that
! snuses It. The same germ causes nair to
fall out. and later baldness: In killing It,
Ilerplclde stops falling hair and prevents
1 baldness. It Is also an ideal hair areas.
I Ing, for It lends an aristocratic charm to
;the hair that Is quite distinctive. Sold
