One hundred fifty-two wcro con verted during these meetings, or seven more than during any one re vival ever held In this county. Mr. William Gholson Is sick at his home In this city with la grippe, R. J. Boddy, who has been In a serious condition, has taken a change for the better, and hopes are now ascertained that ho will regain his health. Sheriff Taylor spent Sunday in this city at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Taylor. Mrs, Wm. McBride's cousin. Miss Grace Armstrong of I.ewlston, Is visiting at the McBrlde home. Mrs. Dormody left for Spokane, where she will live hereafter. Georgo Kinnear of Yakima, Is vis iting at the home of H. 0. Worthing ton. Clyde Wlllaby Is on the sick list this week. The news reached C. A. Darrett of this city of the death of his aged mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller Bar rett, who died Jan. 29, aged 78 years, at the family homo In Sum mer. Oxford county, Maine. Mrs, E. A. Dudley's brother, Vic tor McDonald of Walla Walla spent last week visiting at the Dudley home. A dinner was given at the Chris tian church Sunday, which a large crowd of people partook of. Rev. Mooro delivered an address to the young converts who united with the church during his revival, which was greatly appreciated "by them and all others who were present. Damaged by Fire. Friday night about 10' o'clock fire broke out In the bath room of Mr. Fred Rosenzlnleg's residence and caused great excitement. The fire was soon extinguished. The loss Is estimated at about $150. Reception at Dr. Anderson's. Friday evening at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Anderson, the annual reception of the Friday Afternoon club was held.
