The Sth annual session of tho courso in dairying will be held at the Washington Agricultural College from Feb. 29 to April 22. The course this year will pursue similar lines lo those which have been in preceding years. For two or three years past the school has worked under the dis advantage of having no building or plant sufficiently well equipped for its purpose. Through the generos ity of the last legislature thin lack lias been supplied and there is now in process of construction a new Ualry building which Is to take the place of tho one destroyed by fire some three years ago. If the farmer wishes to bring it to the mill he can get from C4 to CC cents if It is of the best grade ot bluestem, but If It Is not of the standard grade the mills will not have it at any price. It seems a far cry from the Jl wheat of Chicago and (14 cents on the Coast, but the solution lies in the brain of Mr. Armour, the manip ulator who has a corner on the grcrin and is forcing it up. The value there is fictitious and upon it can bo based nothing of the value of the real grain In the market or nn the Coast. Tho mills have all of the stock "n hand they need, and are not looking for grain, but will buy If it is brought to them in good condition.
