Each person had a lit tle book or a bundle of tickets, and as tho numbers wero drawn each porson of tho entire throng was ob livious of the rest, as ho looked eag eily through the list to see It ho was tni' lucky ono. At the Alexander Store, At tho Alexander Department Store tho prlzo that tho people long ed lor was a tlno Hamilton plans There wero 58,000 tickets In the box, and out of these five wero drawn. The lucky number Is 57,351, and has not ns yet been called for. Mr. Alex ander 'lll wait 35 dtys for this num ber to appear, and If by tho end of tho tlmo no ono has produced the number It will go to ono of tho fol lowing. In the order named: 8,218, 55,041, 21,819, hold by Mrs. Cronln. and 28,431, hold by tho Queen Chop House. At the Peoples Warehouse. ' Tho Peoples Warehouse has a long list of prizes to be distributed, and has nrovidcil n climllcaln list so that thero will he no chance for any of tho presents not to be distributed. The number winning the buggy was 15, 5!)fi, and It was hold by Mrs. L. D. Smith. Tho number winning - tho steel range was 23,828, and has not yet been called for. Tho third lucky number, 357, was held by Mrs. Cas per Van Dran, and won for her the sleigh. The fourth number, 18882, wins the baby carriage, and has not been called for. The fifth prize, n fine saddle, was won by Miss Leech, with number 4,700. The sixth prize, a life-sized doll, was won by M. H. Yates with number 19,742. The seventh prlzo was won by a Mr. Jones with number 21,289. This was the number that drew the goat and cart. No one has called for the second or the fourth numbers, and the dupli cates on these arc 21,833 and 17,433. If the first named numbers do not show up tho second list will get the remaining prizes. There wero about 40,000 numbers out. At the St. Joe Store. The St. Joe Store gave away $100 in cash the same evening, divided in to J0, $25 and $15 prizes. The three numbers winning In the order stat ed were 10,988, 2G,7,o, and 22,509. The third number was held by W. D. McGoe, but the other numbers have not as yet been reported. Christmas was observed In all the churches of the city in some of them both on Christmas eve and on the day following. At each church trees and programs wero the order of tho day, and some very crcdlblo perform ances were given. At Presbyterian Church, At tho Presbyterian church ti tree was given to tho young people of tho Sunday school, and a very unlouo i and pleasing program carried out unucr mo direction and management of Miss Maude Crawford. It was called "A Peep Into Dolltkln's Fiat," and was n representation of tho play grounds In Now York, where little children can come and enjoy them selves while their parents are com pelled to be away on business. At this tlmo the church presented to their pastor, Rev. U. J. Diven. a Christmas purse of $50. On Christ mas day at 10:30 In tho morning, tho members of tho church hold a special service In the church. At the South M. E. Church. The exercises at the Christmas tree were well attended and wero render ed In a credible manner. Many lit tle presents wero bortlo on the tree, and gladdened the hearts of the chil dren, old and young. Santa Clans was well loaded with candy and nuts and with his furs and bells tarried a tlmo, then said good-bye. At the Christian Church. At tho Christian church It took two trees to hold all of the presents of candy and other small gifts provided for the children. Every child In tho school under 15 years of ago, receiv ed a bag of candy and nuts. A pro gram, consisting of a Christmas cau tata and other features was given, and a general good tlmo was had by all who attended. There wero services of tho same nature at nil of the other churclies, where the young wero mado to see that Santa Clans had not deserted the earth, and were taugnt the lesson of the Christmas time.
