not anora to put up more lights at
the present rate charged by tho light
company. The city Is now paying
J3.600 a year for lights anil cannot
see Its way clear to pay for more.
Tho proposition of the city putting
up and owning Its own light plant
was brought before the council com
mittee and a lengthy discussion was
had. but It wrought nothing. The
proposition Is. still to be considered.

Death from Unusual Cause.
Frank Kline, formerly of this citv,
was tho victim of a peculiar accident
which happened on the Buckley farm
near Boiso last Wednesday. Mr.
Kline had been engaged to take down
a wind mill and was working at the
top of the mill, 72 feet above tho
ground, when the rough lock on a
wagon wnlch was being loaded with
stone at the Jelllson quarry on tho

and the team, being unable to hold
back the heavy load, dashed against
the windmill, throwing the structure

It seems that on September 19 last
the second section of a sheep train
collided with the first section at In-1
kom, a small station 10 miles south-1
cast of l'ocatollo, and 12 tulles from
McCammon. u. M. Splcer, ono of,
the men who was caring for the
sheep, was hilled and Engineer It.
W. Helnlckel was arrested and pros
ocuted for negligently causing his
death. Tho trial, which resulted li
a verdict of acquittal occupied two
whole days, Including evening ses
