Are too great a strain on the kid neys. Backache, headache, sideache. Kiduey troubles, urinary troubles follow. A Pendleton citizen tells how to cure them all, K. A. Morris, retired, who lives on Park avenue, and Is well known to Pendleton people, says; "I was trou bled with my kidneys ok and on for three years. In earlier days I had worked in a shoe factory In ltockford, III., standing all day at a bench and later on I became a motorman on an electric car. That too, kept mo on my feet all day and aggravated my complaint if it did not start it. It annoyed nie through the day more than at any other lime. I finally got a box of Doan's Kidney Pills at tho Brock & McComas Co, drug store and used them. They cured me. I huvo not had even tho slightest attack of backacho for ilvo years, nor have I used any pills since I stopped the treatment last October." For sale by all dealers. Price 00 tents per box. New Refinery at Idaho Falls Turns Out First Product. Boise, Dec. 7. Sugar to tho amount of 100,000 pounds has been turned out at tho new sugar refinery at Idaho Falls and the factory is still grinding away at full rapacity without a hitch. Tho sugar is now teady for ship ment ami in order to comply with tho provisions or the sugar bounty law, which specifies that a bounty of 1 cent per pound will bo paid by tho state on sugar manufactured In 1903, the state board of examiners has ar ranged for tho inspection of the out put. '";.. Secretary of State Will II, Gibson and Alex. McPherson, state pure food inspector, left yesterday for Idaho Falls. Mr. Gibson will see that tho sugar is properly weighed and stamp ed and Mr, McPherson will test Its quality. It is probable that a competent in spector will be appointed by the state board of examiners to look after th weighing and branding of sugar In Idaho factories. Tho amount of bounty to be paid the refinery on its initial output will be $1,000. Tho bounty law provides that the state shall appropriate tho sum sufficient to meet the require raents of the net. No Trace of the McFarland Boys Drowned In Snake River. Lewlston. Dec. 7. J. J. Brown or rived In the city last night from the upper Snake river, whero he has been engaged In the search for tho bodies of the McFarland brothers, who were drowned In Salmon river eddy last Friday, Mr. Brown commenced the search early last Sunday and has devoted his entire time since In searching for ti.u bodies, but has been unable to locate the remains. The character of the river at tho place vhere the drowning occurred is such that the bodies may not be re covered until they come to the sur face and drift to the eddies below. For five miles the waters are very wild and a continual series of eddies and whirls and it Ik probable that thu remains will bo carried beneath the surface for a long distance unless caught by tho rocks In the bottom of the river In which tivent it would be months before they come to the stir face.
