Donkcl, charged with the murder of his fath er, on fie Deschutes river, yesterday came before the justice of the peaco at I'rineville for preliminary examin ation. The prisoner valvcd examina tion and was held to appear at tno next term of circuit court without bonds. Tills was one of tlx most brutal murders In the history of Oregon. The father and son had been travel ing together and rfter separating, the corpse of tho father of young Donk'd was found .buried under the ashes of his camp fire. Suspicion at once pointed to tno son, as he was last seen with his father, and after missing his parent nic.de no apparent effort to find him. A fresh grave was found, covered by a huge camp fire and the corpse of the old gentleman wns tound there about a week after the murder, Have You Heard About It?
