For several months the Hourietta Flouring Mills at Echo, have been on the market, and some time ago it was rumored that a sale was about to be consummated, but not until today was the deal made. By it t.ie proporty was transferred from the hands of J. H. Koontz and C. A. Koontz, his wife, to Leonora G. Hunt for the sum of $10,000. This Is the mill property, but In another transfer n tract of land also owned by Mr. and Mrs. Koontz, was sold to the same parties for the sum of $1,500. The property is all at and in the vicinity of Echo. The latter tract comprises about 50 acres of timber land near the city, and is a valuable piece of land. The former, or the mill property, comprises the Henri etta Mills, with all of the land nnd warehouses belonging to It. It is in the edge of the city of Echo and has in connection with the mill building seven acres of land upon which the mill and warehouses stand, and a flume two miles long. The capacity of the mill Is 100 bar-! rels a day, though with good wheat It can grind out 150 barrels. There are two warehouses with the prop erty, each 50xinu feet in dimension. It is the intention of the new own er or owners, for it is rumored that It has been bought by a syndicate of Portland capitalists, to run the mill to the full capacity.
