Aug. 5. .Mrs. Louise Barnes, aged 73, Is suing her husband. Dr. C. N. Barnes, aged 35, for an absolute divorce. They were married In Maine in 1900. She requests attachments for prop erty valued at $50,000, all of which was her property before her marriage to Dr. Barnes. She Is very wealthy In her own right. The petition and complaint allege that Dr. Barnes has hypnotic power and is a dangerous character as well as unfaithful to his marriage vows. The complaint names two co-respondents, one a chorus girl and the other a 12-year-old child. Tho alle gations are that Dr. Barnes has been living at Los Angeles with the chorus girl since last November, In opulent circumstances their means having been abstracted from the petitioner's own personal resources.
