R. .t N.. have been nware of the fact that the depot at this place was sadly In need of some changes for the convenience of the public, and It seems that the company has been of the same mind, for thoy have all the time been con sidering the matter, and have drawn plans for an extensive remodeling of the lower tloor and the changing of the upper floor. When the changes have been made the deKit will be modern In Its arrangements, and will be amply large for years to come It is the intention of the compan to take out one of the office rooms In the lower floor and convert the whole lower part or the building Into space for the ticket office and the waiting rooms. The telegraph ami ticket of fices will be in the middle and a lit tle to one side of the main room. In front, or on the side next to the main line, there will be a hallway about six feet wide which will pass in trout of the ticket window. There will be but the ticket office on all or the lower flooi. so that all the test ol the space will be occupied by the wnltiug rooms. The women's room will be at one eiul of the building next to the baggage room, and will be as wide as the' depot ami will extend from the baggage room partition to the parti tion of the ticket office, or about 8n feet. The small room now used by the trainmen alono on the front side, will be torn out and the passageway will be built there. The men's wait ing room will he practically the same as it is now. The entire interior will be remod eled and repainted, and the plnce will be as good as new when the men get through with the work. On the upper floor no great changes will be made In the arrange ment of the building other than to put a partition In the room now uccu pled by the offices Oi" the bridge nud building deportment.
