As the Most Popular Lady, Mrs. Lulu Harwood received the J I highest number of votes as the most popular lady and therefore got the , fine sewing machine given by the J Echo Land & lumber Company. This unique method of allowing a vote for . even" purchase amounting to 25 cents was adopted some time ago by this company and Mrs. Harwood received a total of nearly 9.000 votes. Among others that received high votes were XIrs. Kcnnlson, Miss Boyd and Mrs. Willis. Mrs. Lula Harwood, daughter of R. G. Xewport, railroad contractor, leaves Echo this evening for Omaha to join her husband. Junius Brutus Booth, an actor and nephew of John Wilkes Booth, the assassin of Pres ident Lincoln, identified the man who suicided here January 14, as his un cle the assassin. The man lived as David George. Upon his death, K. L. Bates, attor ney for the Memphis came here and fully identified the body, then went East and has obtained ositive Iden tification from the nephew, from Joseph Jefferson. Clara Morris and a score of others. Bates claims to have been the confidential agent 'or Booth for years.
