High Prices for Berries.
The Sonoma County Berry Growers'
Association has contracted the crop
of Its members this year at $45 per
ton for blackberries and $110 per ton
for raspberries, berries to be deliv
ered at Santa Ttosa in that county.
The crop thus provided for ls estimat
ed at between 600 and 700 tons of
blackberries and 25 to 30 tons of rasp
berries. The price to be paid for
blackberries Is decidedly discourag
ing to Oregon growers, but there
would be a large production of rasp
berries In this state if $110 per ton
for the entire crop could be depend
ed on.
