The object of the association when It was formed was to keep the roads in good condition for driving and the dust laid by continual sprinkling. In order to create an added interest and for the pleasure of those who 'wish to attend, the meet Is held on Sunday next. It was the wish of the association to hold the meet on a week day, but so many were the re quests that it be held on Sunday, that the date was changed. Many people could not attend during the week who would be present on Sunday after noon. The management wish to state that no betting of any kind will be per mitted, neither will poolselling or gambling In any form be tolerated on the grounds. No intoxicants of any nature will be permitted to be brought to the track. It is simply to be a meeting of good horses for the pleasure of people who admire them. The list of entries is given below.
