Echo, May 13. A Mrs. Dojiler, who
was cooking for Newport & Son jn
the outfit car on the Nolan side track.
yesterday evening was seriously hurt
by the train running Into the car.
One car was badly smashed ami
thrown from the track. The woman
received a sovero scalp .wound, but
is said to be Improving at this time.
A Mr. Fleldstead has purchased
about 2.C00 head of sheep here and
starts today to trail thorn to the Yaki
ma country.
A Mr, Meoks has purchased quite
a number of sheep In this vicinity and
Pendleton, which he will ship to the
Montana pasture.
