WATCHES W. & C. R. Will Run a Special Train To Walla Walla. S. B. Calderliead was in the city yesterday evening making arrange' mcnts to run a special passenger train on the W. & C. R. for Pendlo ton Walla Walla on May 1. the oe casion of the big log rolling to be held by the Woodmen. The people of Walla Walla are making it a special occasion and all the cities of Eastern Washington, In cluding Spokane, will send large dele gations to Walla Walla on that date. The train will leave here about 7 a. m., reaching Walla Walla at 10 or 10:30, to return after the exercises, reaching this city about 11 p. m.
