cal treatment.
Miss Myrtle Salt returned home

opposite William McQueen's, for the
present.
Kohcrmnn has leased the Hose
building, near the new opera bouse,
for a period of five years, and Is hav
ing a stono over lined with brick
built. Mr. Uoherman had some notion
of locating In Freewater, but did not
llku the "ozono" there very well,
hence will lemaln In Mlltt.u.
Asa Troyer graduated from the My
ers College of Kiubaliniti;; In Port
land, tho (list of the month with high
honors, and Is now a full-fledged em
balmer. Ho has entered upon his du
ties as such In Mr. J, N. Stone's under
and furniture store.
Excellent Easter Services.
The Kaster services of tho M. K.
churches of this city last Sunday were
somewhat above the ordinary services
on such occasions. Tho houses were
made beautiful and a'iactlvo by flor
al decorations. A unique program, ap
propriate to M10 occasion, was ren
dered and It was a day long to be re
membered by the children of tho two
schools.

man and Miss Lulu McKtnley, tho
esteemed daughter of 13. McKlnley
of this city, were married Wednesday,
April S, 11)03, in Walla Walla, by the
Hev. ,1. M. Morris, pastor of the
Christian church at that place. Tho
high contracting parties aro well
known In Milton, and all Join In wish
ing them unbounded Joy In their new
journey of life.

Methodist "Field Day."
Yesterday was "field day" for mis
sions In tho Methodist Episcopal
church. The collections for missions
yesterday amounted to $2lf, which,
with the monev on hand, makes a
i total for the missionary fund of $220.

church yc-Uerday. nil being baptized
at the morning service. There were
also five conversions yesterday. Tho
program in tho evening, In which the
chlulren were tho exclusive perform
ers, was the excluslvo production of
Mrs. A. J. Owen. Mrs. 1. .1.. French
and Miss Hoscno ICppel, besides being
staged by them.
It has no indebtedness of any character.
