that his last year's supply Is exhaust
ed and that the demand Is much
greater than the Biipply. The output
ner hive is about $7 per annum. This
would seem to be good returns, when
one takes into consideration the fact
that n hive does not cost to exceed
$0, besides one gets from one to three
hives from each colony during a sea
son. Some of the settlors who hnve filed
homesteads under the supposed gov
ernment ditch when asked what they
would do to make a living while
waiting for water, say they will go in
to the bee Industry and harvest a
crop thereby from their neighbors'
nlfalfn fields. James SlcCarty Is dem
