Traffic Unless Will Tie Up Windy City's Tighter Than Ever Before Their Demands are Granted. Fourteen unions, whoso members are engaged in tho handling and trans portation of freight have formed a central body In Chicago 10 be cr11c;1 the Shipping Trades Federation. The new organization Is for mutual aid and protection, and will control ovc 20,000 men, most or whom are pro paring to demand shorter hours and increased wages. The federation includes every union man who handles freight from the time it leaves the factories or whole sale houses until It goes out of tho switchyards or is loaded on tho lake steamers. Its members are employed by the wholesale houses, railroads or boat lines. The primary object of the federation is to have a central 'ody that can take ur r. 11 matters of o tipweon the unions and com panies and adjust them more satls torily than if it wore done by out side persons. The federation will- have tho fol lowing unions enrolled as members: Teamsters' National, Longshore men, Seamen, Hallway Express Driv ers, Merchandise Packers, Wholesal ers' Drug Employes, Commissioner Merchants, Helpers, Freighthandlors, Railway Clerks, Wholesale Grocery Employes, Boxmakers and Sawyers. Health Before Wealth. Nine out of ten ailments first show themselves in constipation. Nature's warning, if left unheeded, means ser ious chronic trouble later on. Medi cal statistics show that a greater num ber of people suffer from constipation than from all other disease combined. A great talk is made about consump tion, but if the truth were known, constipation kills more people than consumption. Within the last few years a medicine has been discovered and made known to the American peo ple, of such merit in curing consti pation and its consequences that now over ten million boxes of CASCAR ETS are sold every year, the greatest sale ever attained by any one medi cine in the world and this is the strongest proof that it Is the best and will do all and more than claimed. If you are a sufferer you are not doing right by yourself and family if you fall to give CASCARETS a trial, and right here we want to warn you to get the genuine, because all great suc cesses breed imitations. The genuine tablet is put up in metal boxes and has the word CASCARETS with the long-tailed "C" on the cover. Every Cascaret tablet is stamped C. C. C.
