The Oregon delegation at Wash
ing ton is in favor of an appropriation
for the establishment of a school of
mines and mining in Oregon. For
this reason the members of the dele
gation will support the Orosvenor bill
which provides that a certain percent
age of the amount derived from the

set aside for the establishment of
schools of mines and mining,
