The miller stepped out of his little hut and was approached by n farmer with a sack of corn to he ground. The miller looked around, and seeing that there was no wind to turn his mill, declar ed lie could not grind the corn for the rarmer. The farmer said he must havo the meal, as his family was in distress and he could not wait. Then the miller said ho would give him meal from Ills own trusty barrel to last him until the wind came up. The uarroi was rolled out onto tho .stage and broken open with a sledge. When the barrel was opened two little brownies stepped out, to the surprise ot me auuience. The miller looked surprised .and the brownies asked what was the matter. The trouble was explained and they said they would see if they could not remedy the mat tor. mey walked down in front of me wmu mill and began to blow to wards the fans. The mill began to turn and the miller poured in the grain the farmer had brouhL. in- stead of grinding out Hour, little sacks. oi canuy began to pour out of tho mm. mese were passed out to tho children In the audience.
