Write NOthlna New in Wheat Flour Still Going Up Poultr and Eggs Scarce. There Is nothing new In the wheat marKei. ueaiers are miotiue no prices and local men refuse to offer much above CO cents a bushel. Fann ers are not offering to sell and there will be no change until after the first of the year. Then markets may en liven up a little and prices may be strong, but the local dealers will not give any guess at whether wheat will go higher or remain about 60 and 02 cents a bushel. Flour Still Goes Up. Although the price of wheat has not changed the price of Hour has been forced up again. One week ago flour was quoted at $4 a barrel local ly and today dealers are asking $4.25 for the best. Potatoes Have Advanced. Potatoes have advanced 25 cents on the hundred within the past week. They are now being quoted at $1.25 a hundred. Eggs 40 Cents a Dozen. The rancher who Is lucky enough to have a few eggs for sale can now get 40 cents a dozen In trade for them. Eggs are almost a thing Im possible to get. Eastern packed eggs are being shipped In by the crate and dealers cannot supply the demand with them. Fresh eggs are out of the question at any price. Turkeys Scarce. The price of turkeys are forced up by the demand for them for Christ mas dinner. Before Christmas and even through Thanksgiving turkeys retailed at 10 cents a pound, but now they are bard to get at 14 cents. In tact, local dealers say they aie off the jnarket and very few can be bought at all. Wheat Market. Chickens, hens, per doren, $2.50 to $3.50. Turkeys, per lb.. 14c. Geese, per dor., $9.
