Local buyers are not over an xious to buy and If they were it would do them no good as farmers will not sell at the present figure. They con fidentially expect to get more than C2 cents for their holdings and are simply .hanging onto the remaining wheat In the county until after the holidays when they are sure of a ma terial advance. Local dealers say that no move ment will be made until after the hol idays, but they refuse to give any In formation regarding their views of an advance then over the present mar ket. They say that wheat may go higher and It may not. At least, as soon as the holidays are past the man with some wheat left will begin to look for a buyer and it It does not ad vance, but remains at the present fig ure many will sell. They do not care to hold longer as the costs of holding In warehouses will eat up the profits. Flour Remains High. Flour remains at $4 a barrel, or an advance of CO cents over what It was tour montns ago. this jump was made when wheat went to CO cents. and it will remain up until wheat again goes down as the flour market Is governed by the wheat market. Eggs Soaring Again. Fresh country eggs are now selling locally at 40 cents a dozen, or almost four and a half cents each. At this figure they are almost a thine to be thought of and' not to be had. Many eggs have been shipped In from the hast and these, being storage eggs, are retailing at 35 cents a dozen. Ranch Butter Hlqher, Itanch butter has also advanced ten cents on the roll. It was selling at 50 cents, but now cannot bo had for less than GO. Creamery butter has not ad vanced, but remains at SO cents a roll. Cabbage Doubled in Price.
