They were billed to Puy- allup and were being shipped by Fur nish, One Faction Favors Single Statehood, the Other Favors Combining Okla homa and Indian Territory. Claremore, I. T., Dec. X It is ac cepted as a foregone conclusion that the Inquiry Senator Beveridge and his fellow-commltteemen from the ornate committee on territories hav- been making through Oklahoma, New Mex ico and Arizona will precipitous a free-for-all fight on the statehood question when the bill comes up in the senate next week. The bill before the senate is known as the Tri-State bill and provides for the admission of New Mexico and Arizona to statehood and the creation of a single state out of Oklahoma and Indian territories. The Tri-State bill was the result of the efforts of Mr. Flynn, the delegate from Oklahoma, who felt so sure of its passage by the senate that he de clined a re-nomination to the house, with the intention of being one of the first senators from the new state In both Oklahoma and Indian terri torities. however, there Is a large ele ment which lb sttenuously opposed to combining the two into one state. They favor single statehood and are working hard to promote their cause. Citizens of Oklahoma object to the joint statehood proposition on the grund that the Indian territory Is far behind their territory in progress, de velopment and civilization, while a large element of the Indian territory people are of the opinion that Okla homa would have all the best of it in the combination deal. The single statehood advocates of the two territories have decided to come together for the promotion of tbelr plans. To this end a single statehood convention composed of nearly 500 delegates from each of the two territories assembled here today. The purpose of the convention is to frame a bill that will be introduced as a substitute for the omnibus bill, and which will provide for the mak ing of a single state of the territory of Oklahoma and the Indian territory. 25c Ladles cashmere hose 3 or 50c 50c Ladles jersey ribbed vests and pants 25c ea 35c Ladles wool fascinators J8cea 35c Chlldrens natural wool vests and pants (8c ea 75c 44-inch wide wool cheviot sotting 48c yd $(.00 50-inch wide all wool canvas salting 79c yd 75c All wool walsting 42c yd iOc Heaviest otrting flannel . .
