Henry Bergiven, the young man re cently injured at Adams by a derrick fork, is able to be out, but is still In the Sisters' hospital. B. V. Steel, a farmer from Juniper, is in town. Mr. Steel says the roads are very dusty and cut up badly be tween here and Juniper. Fred Lleuallen, of Adams, was in town Tuesday. He is preparing to re turn to Portland, where ho will at tend medical college again. Rev. John Uren Is having his household goods packed and shipped to Dayton, Wash., wh?re he goes to morrow to take his new charge. John Howaid, buying sheep for Pope & Howard, left this morning for Meacham to look over Ave bands, which he contemplates buying. Hod M.
