John McKlnnon had a noteworthy
yield from two acres of blue stem

ground, formerly In potatoes, was
measured, and W. W. Carlile. who
threshed the wheal, voucnes ior uiu
accuracy of the figures. The two
acres yielded 54 sacks, or 63 bushels
per acre. From 35 acres of oats Mr.
McKinnon obtained 661 sacks.
J. P. Lieuallen returned Monday
from Bert Grave3 caMlo camp on the
