Lister, two C. enterprising students from Eugene, came here about two months ago to put in their vacation in getting out a city directory for Pendleton. Ab a result they have turned out a Bmall volume containing a list of the real dents of the city and also a classified business list. The volume also contains a nurriber of display advertisements. The young men have labored under disadvantages but have not let ob stacles cool their ardor or weaken their enthusiasm. Willie the East Oregonian does not believe that advertising pays the ad vertiser through such a medium, yet it would not comment adversely on the good intentions of these young men. They deserve all o fthe suc cess they have attained in the matter.
