CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.
Teams Left In Hot Sun Without Feed
or Water.
Frank Frazler should have credit
for his thoughtfulness to dumb ani
mals. Last Saturday morning a
horse was tied to a post near Hotel
Pendleton and left there all day with
out feed or water. Mr. Frazler saw
the animal and concluded that he
would see that It got something to
eat and drink.
Accordingly, he untied the animal
and took It into the Froome livery
stable, where Its wants were looked
after. Late in the evening tho owner
came to get his horse to ride home
and it was gone. Someone told him
where to find it and he had to pay
for the care of the animal before In
could get It out of tho barn. This
served him right. ,Had it cost him
$10 It would not have been too much.
