A Famous Shop in the Carrollton Hotel, Baltimore, Maryland. The barber shop in the Carrollton hotel, Baltimore, sterilizes everything it uses in the shop. The sterilizing 1b done by heat The towels, the razors, the stropes, the soap, the combs and tbe brushes are all sterilized before being used on a customer. Where there is no sterilization, have the bar ber use Newbro's Herpicide. It kills the dandruff germ and it is an anti septic for the scalp, and for the face after shaving. All leading barbers, everywhere, appreciate these potent facts about Herpicide and they use it "Destroy the cause, you remove the effect" A Bad Accident Grant Copeland arrived in this city yesterday, says the Union of Wednes day, nursing a badly shattered shoulder, the result of a lall while rounding up cattle on the range near Cow Creek in Adams county Sunday. The fracture could not be reduced until Mr. Copeland reached this city, and he suffered greatly as a result It took both time and patience to reach Walla Walla, and but for the plucky act of Nesmlth Ankeny the delay might have been much greater. Mr. .Ankeny was with Mr. Cope land's cattle in the Washtucna coun try. When the accident occurred Mr. Copeland realized that it was Imper ative for him to reach Walla Walla as soon as possible. Accordingly he started for the railroad ,at the nearest point But the river Intervened. There were no boats on the same side with Copeland and Ankeny, and if the train -was to be caught It was necessary that the men cross the riv er at once. Finelly they spied a boat on the other side of the river and Ankeny stripped off his clothes aad swam the icy current, bringing: the pigmy ferry pver from the other shore. Mr. Copeland caught his train. o 32 ST o r' 2.
