SEEK SSECOND DIVORCE.
Mrs. William George Seeks Divorce
From Her Second Husband Five
Months After Marriage.
Mrs. Louisa E. George, formerly
Mrs Charles B. Spencer, nee Miss
Louise E. Gelslor, is again before
the Umatilla county court seeking a
divorce.
Miss Geisler was married to Chas.
B Spencer a few years ago, and,
after living together two years, Mrs
Spencer sued her husband for a di
vorce. The decree was granted less
than six months ngo, and a few weeks
after, Mrs. Spencor became the wife
of William George, at Roseburg, Or.
They were married the 17th of Janu
ary, 15)02, but married life ngain prov
ed a failure to Mrs. Spencer and she
now asks tho court to dissolve tho
marriage vows existing between her
and William George and return to
her tho name of Mrs. Spencor. She
alleges that she was not aware that
a marriage contract made within six
months after a divorce was not law
ful and on that ground she seeks an
other legal separation. Peter West
is attorney for plaintiff.
