The Commercial Review in its issue today says of tho wheat market for the past week: The market here remalnB unchang ed. There Is a constant demand. In spite of weaker foreign and Eastern advices, prices at this point aro ap parently steady. In AValla Walla, wheat trading is of a desultory char acter, but some selling is being done right along at from GG to 67 cents per bushel and a few cargoes aro slowly but steadily accumulating every few days. Tho nearness of the coming harvest and long-continued wait for a special price is wearing out some holders, and the disposition to clean up holdings is becoming more manifest from week to week, anu while selling values aro not at all satisfactory to a majority of the hold ers, tho Bi.uauOn Is more clearly un derstood and they are more inclined to dispose of their wheat and get ready for the new crop. Of course, a number of well-to-do farmors havo been holding out for a large price, and some of them have crops of three and four vears 011 U,eIr hands. at( havo not given up all hope of obtain ing 75 cents per bushel, and will prob ably carry over their grain into next season. There is always more or less wheat In every section of tho North west, and tho usual carry-over In tho interior this season will bo as largo as In former years. Crop advices show no change previous to tho few warm days. The growth of all cere als was slow, but the warm spell has doubtless giv n all crops a great Im petus. It Is considered conjectural what effect tho heavy rains tho last of tho week will have upon tho grain. If rust does not set In, as some aro Inclined to fear, wheat will receive great benefit from tho plentiful moist ure the soil has been stored with. Wheat Is all stooled out well and cov ers tho ground completely. Fall wheat is 38 Inches to two feet high, and tho earliest Is beginning to head. Barley and oats are also jooklng well. Quotations aro without change. Club, GoG7c; bluestom, 6869c; valley, GGc per bushel. Wheat In San Francisco. San Francisco. June C. A very light amount of trading is being dono on spot, owing to tho absence of buy ers, who show great Indifference about sampling the few offerings on this market. The export demand, what there is of It, is confined to one or two firms and these have wants well In hand. Millers are constant buyers in the Interior at the usual advance over shipping grades. The crop situation Is unchanged. Wheat Is maturing rapidly and Jn the north ern and central parts of the state a heavy crop Is expected. Quotations for No. 1 shipping nre $1.13f.l5 per cental; milling. $1.1GU31.17&. Wool In Boston. Boston, Juno 5. Sales for tho past week hero havo boon satisfactory. The market Is steady and prices firm. Territory wools aro very firm. Idaho wools arc being rapidly cleaned up, and nt prices abovo tho market. Quo tations aro firm.
