Lands.
Elsie Waters vs. T. E. Parker, is
the title of a suit filed at the court
house- this afternoon, asking judg
ment for $780, which plaintiff alleges
is due her for labor performed for
defendant. Tho allegations are:
That during the years 189G-7, plain
tiff performed work and labor for de
fendant at tho defendant's special in
stance and request, in caring for and
riding after upon the range, the live-
-fltpek of the defendant. That the
reasonable value of this service was
$125 per annum and board. That
during the years 1898-99-1900 nlnln
tiff performed the same kind of work
ior ueienuant and that the reasonable
value for such service was $180 per
annum and board. Plaintiff s.ivr aim
received her board during this time,
Dut no part of either said amounts
have been paid and that there Is now
due and unpaid the sum of $780 for
the aggregate amounts. Wherefore,
