To Settle Dig Labor Dispute.
Washington, March 24. Organized
labor is watching with keen interest
the procedlngs in the supreme court
of the district of Columbia, where ar
guments were commenced this morn
ing in tho suit to determine which
of two factions Is the legal order of
the Krlghts of Labor. In well-in
formed circles it seems to be the
general expectation that tho faction
represented by Secretary Hayes will
win out, as it Is Incorporated and
has possesion of tho headquarters
and all the books, records and docu
ments of tho once-famous order.
Moreover, the Parsons side has been
restrained by the courts from .doing
business as the Knights of Labor and
it js believed- that the final outcome
will bo to make thlB .restraint perma-nent.
