Crop Prospects Better. Walla Walla, March 17. Farmers report crop prospects brightening with the opening of spring, but there is nothing flattering in the outlook thus far. Where the fall grain win tered in fair shape, it is stiJii? and Hs making good growth, but a great per centage had to bo re-seeded en tirely. This has delayed the spring work some and may cause late seed ing in some places. Plownig is in progress and with good weather seed- ing will be well along at the usual time. ' ' WONG QUONG IN PEN.
