Charles Spears, who hat been
working for Charles H. Grave, In the
Dvpot lunch counter, left Saturday
night for part unknown and with
him went about flu In cash, an over
coat and a 41-Colts revolver, belong
ing to Mr Graves, beside a 38 Smith
I Wesson revolver, belonging to Mar
tin Rowe.
Spears was In the lunch room on
t)M night shift, and when Rowe came
along Spears told him someone had
tolaa Graves' revolver, which had
been left on the shelf and he wanted
something to defend the house with.
Row loaned him his six shooter,
which lie happened to have In his
pocket, spear soon ahut up the
house, and that was the last seen of
him until Wednesday, when word
was received that he was In Echo
working In a hotel. A warrant was
sworn out for his arrest and plafad
in the hands of Constable Rent ley.
