Holt leaves for the Kast. He wlli can
vass for the home mission hoard, and
Incidentally put in a few words for
the academy. In fact. It Is confidently
expected that Dr. Holt's visit in the
Kast will result In something substan
tial for the local school ns ho pro
poses to make It one of his chief oh
jocts and to endeavor to secure sup
port from persons there who have
money to give away.

Already the president, the Rev F. L.
Forhes. has in hand, in good subscrip
tions, more than $4Oi0 towards the
building toad, and It now is believed
that the new structure will be secur
ed. It Is by no meuns assured for
the coming year, but that within 21
