Mollis, formerly a merchant in Pendleton, who went from Maker City a few days ago to take charge of Oregon's mineral exhibit at the Pan- American exposition at Buffalo, N. Y., writes to a personal friend under date of April 21 : Arrived here this morning. After leaving the street car it took me one half hour to wade through one am one-half feet of snow and 'J ni m gallons of water to reach the exposition grounds.
