They spent two day s on the coast before returning to Gold Hill. Leroy Cameron arrived in Gold Hill Friday from Fort Ord, Calif ornia for a week’s visit with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Gilchrist and Charles visited at Ashland with Mrs. Anna Gilchrist who was taken there last week to a Rest Home. Mrs. Gilchrist has been ill again and will be there until she is well enough to come home. Mr. and Mrs. George Dorman left Friday for Salem, called there by the death of Mr. Dorman's aunt, Mrs. Jane A. Dorman. Mrs. Dorman was a pioneer of Salem, having lived in that vicinity over sixty years. She was 90 years of age at the time of her passing. Mr. and Mrs. Dorman returned to Gold Hill Sunday. Stevens and son Albert ot Medford was a visitor Monday at the home of Mr. Stevens’ daughter, Mrs. Josie Force. Mr. and Mrs. Walter McLean left Saturday for a few days camping and fishiug at Crater Creek. Frances Norton of Wolf Creek was a Sunday visitor in the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Meunier and family. Mr. and Mrs Curtis Parker and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Blevins were at the W. J. Gagnon home in Evans valley last Saturday evening. Mrs. Ella Patrick left last Satur day for a visit in Klamath Falls. Mary Kelsey of Portland and Iris Holzguiig of Scappoose were recent visitors in Mrs. Patrick’s home. Leland T. Cook, tormer school principal here, is visiting relatives in Medford. He spent Wednesday here fishing and visiting friends. He will teach in Placerville, Calif ornia next year. Malchoni Wright, who was prin cipal here several years ago, visit ed relatives and friends here this week. He will also teach at Placer ville, California next year. Mr. and Mrs. M’eFerron of Los Angeles and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Woods of Hilt were at the home of Mrs. Mary Morelock over the week end. They came to attend the fun eral services of Mrs. Oris Craw ford of Medford. Mrs. Morelock’s daughter, which took place Iasi Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Newnhain and family were dinner guests ol Mr. and Mrs. Jack Frost Saturday evening. The dinner was in honor of Mr. Newnham's birthday. George Mardon has returned from a trip to Idaho where he went to see about some mining interests. Mr. and Mrs. Bedford Biles of Bogue Biver were dinner guests at the A. Meunier home Saturday eve ning. Milton Steinmetz is at home from Portland for a visit with his fam ily. While here he is improving the home where the family will move The Norman Hailey family bus moved into the Rill Flippen house. Dick Robinson has returned from his vacation trip into Califor nia. The Rob Adams family is moving from Medford into the barton house. Tile Adamses lived in Gobi Hill before moving to Medford sev eral years ago. Wayne Newnhum has been visit ing with the Veltie Biles family on Foots Creek for several »lays.
